Matthew 28:19-20 – Therefor go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. And teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Encouraging children to be participate in God’s mission is one of the key factors involved in creating a nurturing environment of growing spiritually for children. Children feel empowered when they are able to see themselves as significant human beings who add value to their community and world. We hold missions close to our heart here at NCP and teach the children to live with less, so we can save more, so we can be more generous. The children consistently pray for and support these missions through their Wednesday offering. The offering received allows us to equip those in different places around the globe, so those blessed can continue to equip others.

The African Children’s Choir program promotes the beauty, dignity and unlimited ability of the African child around the world, being a voice for the millions of suffering children who cannot speak for themselves. The program provides for the children’s well being and quality education, utilizing the transformative power of music. We install Christian principles through teaching and leading by example and bring relief and development to African nations in crisis.

Our work is about all of us joining together to make sure we all have access to the most basic need: food. Founded in 1974, Second Harvest is one of the largest food banks in the nation. We provide food to more than a quarter of a million people in Silicon Valley every month. More than half the people we serve are kids and seniors. We distribute healthy food, including more fresh produce than almost any other food bank in the country, through a network of 309 nonprofit partners at 985 sites. To reach more people, we connect those in need to federal nutrition programs and other food resources.

Food for the Hungry seeks to end ALL forms of human poverty by going to the hard places and walking with the world’s most vulnerable people. We’ve been serving through purposeful relief and development for over four decades. We believe in the fight against poverty, which is why we serve the vulnerable in over 20 countries globally. We’re moved and inspired by our Christian belief that every person has intrinsic value, and that it’s our responsibility to advocate for the poor and marginalized without regard to race, creed or nationality and without adverse distinction of any kind. We serve on the basis of need alone. We strive to respect the culture and customs of the people we serve in order to preserve their humanity and dignity.
