Growing Together in Faith and Friendship: February at NCP

February was a wonderful month of growth, connection, and care at Neighborhood Christian Preschool.

Our children explored lessons of kindness, celebrated friendship, and learned new skills that support their development. Families, teachers, and volunteers all played a part in making February full of meaning and joy.

Friendship Parties - February 13

Valentine's week was extra special at NCP as our classrooms came together to celebrate friendship. Children exchanged valentines with one another and talked about the importance of kindness and love.

Throughout the week, our teachers guided conversations about how to be a good friend, how to show kindness in words and actions, and how we can share God's love with those around us.

Parents volunteered to bring snacks and treats, while others helped decorate classrooms and organize games. These simple acts of love and service reminded our students that being part of a community means giving, sharing, and celebrating together.

Parent Teacher Conferences - February 17 to 20

February also brought opportunities for meaningful collaboration through our Parent Teacher Conferences.

Teachers invited parents to sit down for individualized discussions about each child's progress. Together, they celebrated milestones in social and emotional growth, fine and gross motor development, and academic curiosity.

Parents left feeling informed, encouraged, and confident in the partnership that supports their child's success for the rest of the school year. Conferences like these strengthen the bridge between home and school, helping every child flourish in both places.

Reflecting on February at MNCP

Each of these events reflected our preschool's mission to nurture children through faith, love, and learning. February reminded us that growth happens through partnership between teachers and families, between children and their friends, and within our wider school community.
