Dancing, Praying, and Growing in Faith Every Thursday

Thursday is chapel day at NCP, and it is one of our children's favorite parts of the week. They gather in a room for worship, and most of them know exactly where they are headed the moment they get to school.

When the music starts, the whole room comes alive. Our children dance, jump, and sing along to worship songs they know by heart. Ms. Dianna leads them. She teaches here and is a worship leader at her own church, and she brings that same energy to our children every Thursday.

After the singing, everyone settles in for a short prayer and a devotion. Our children talk about the Bible verse they have been practicing that week, and their teachers keep working on it back in the classroom with a Bible story and a verse review at circle time. The lesson stays with them long after chapel ends.

Chapel lasts about 20 to 30 minutes, and it carries into the rest of the week. Faith is simply part of how our children learn here. You hear it when they hum the songs at pickup and when they say the prayers they are learning.
